Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve DTCC’s brand narrative across branded content and executive thought leadership, ensuring alignment with the company’s positioning across owned, earned, and paid channels.
  • Bring DTCC’s positioning to life through distinctive storytelling that integrates writing, design, and production into high-impact content that engages core audiences and builds brand familiarity.
  • Build and scale a brand content program that drives brand familiarity, consideration, and discoverability (including GEO/LLM optimization), while clearly linking storytelling to measurable business impact.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, partnering closely with the Executive Committee and GMs to develop executive and brand content roadmaps across formats and channels.
  • Drive consensus, secure buy-in and foster adoption of narrative frameworks and storytelling devices among executive leaders and cross-functional teams.
  • Shape DTCC’s social executive presence, influencing where, how, and with whom the brand shows up—externally, internally, and through executive ‘influencer’ storytelling
  • Lead experimentation with new formats, platforms, and distribution models, developing repeatable playbooks once effectiveness is proven.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with business marketing, external and internal communications, and creative to deliver integrated, holistic brand and content plans.
  • Create frameworks, rituals, and operating models that help the team move faster and produce content that creates impact.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience

Preferred

  • 10–15 years of experience across thought leadership, brand content, and narrative development.
  • Proven experience leading brand narratives and content at scale, ideally with a background mix of agency and in-house roles.
  • A builder’s mindset—you create new models and systems rather than relying on traditional content approaches.
  • Deep understanding of how brand, culture, communications, and business outcomes intersect.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
  • Strong program and stakeholder management capabilities, including building initiatives from scratch in a matrixed organization.
  • Ability to influence at all levels, driving alignment, buy-in, and adoption of narrative frameworks among senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
  • A digital-first, data-informed approach to storytelling, with the ability to make market infrastructure feel relevant, interesting, and human.

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation, including base pay and annual incentive
  • Comprehensive health and life insurance and well-being benefits, based on location
  • Pension / Retirement benefits
  • Paid Time Off and Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
  • DTCC offers a flexible/hybrid model of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote (onsite Tuesdays, Wednesdays and a third day unique to each team or employee).
