Job Summary
Produce and curate Sunnyside USD multimedia content that supports district initiatives, enrollment campaigns, and community engagement while building a cohesive digital library and staying current on content trends.
- Own multimedia production across district sites and events to deliver engaging video and photography content.
- Collaborate with Communications to execute strategic content plans and extend reach across website and social channels.

Responsibilities
- Create and curate engaging and informative content that highlights the mission and initiative of SUSD across multiple platforms: website, social media, video, photography
- Capture and produce video and photography content across district sites and events
- Collaborate with Communications team to execute strategic content plans
- Support district campaigns related to enrollment, recruitment, and community engagement
- Assist with management and growth of digital platforms (social media, website)
- Provide multimedia coverage of district events and programs
- Maintain organized digital media library
- Monitor social media trends and implement appropriate strategies to increase engagement and followership
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in content creation, social media management, and digital marketing
- Assist in the planning and, promotion, and execution of events organized by the department
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in multimedia production or digital marketing
- Proficiency in video editing and photography tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, or similar)
- Experience creating content for social media platforms
- Travel to school sites and district events required
- Occasional evening/weekend work
Nice to Have
- Experience in K-12 education or public sector communications
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Knowledge of accessibility standards for digital content

Sunnyside Unified School District is the second largest school district in Tucson, Arizona, serving approximately 14,000 students.
