Job Description
Responsibilities
- Creative Development & Brand Management - Develop and execute high-quality visual designs across print and digital channels. - Create marketing collateral including brochures, flyers, advertisements, direct mail, signage, event materials, infographics, and promotional materials. - Design digital assets for websites, email campaigns, social media platforms, online advertising, and customer communications. - Maintain and evolve People's Bank's visual identity standards to ensure a consistent and compelling brand experience. - Serve as the organization's brand steward, ensuring all customer-facing materials adhere to established brand guidelines. - Establish design best practices, templates, and creative standards for use across the organization. - Build and maintain digital pattern library to support consistent application of our visual identity system across all surfaces.
- Creative Review & Quality Assurance - Review, evaluate, and approve creative materials developed by external agencies, vendors, and internal stakeholders. - Provide creative direction and constructive feedback to ensure all work meets quality, brand, and strategic objectives. - Monitor brand consistency across all communications and customer touchpoints. - Ensure accuracy, visual excellence, and compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
- Presentation & Executive Communications Support - Design and enhance executive-level presentations, sales presentations, board materials, and strategic business communications. - Partner with business development and leadership teams to create compelling, visually engaging content for high-stakes presentations, proposals, and RFP responses. - Develop presentation templates and visual storytelling frameworks that improve organizational communication effectiveness.
- Digital Marketing & Website Support - Design and update website content, landing pages, and other digital experiences. - Support the development and execution of email marketing campaigns. - Create and maintain digital marketing assets that support customer acquisition, retention, and engagement initiatives. - Collaborate with marketing and technology partners to ensure optimal user experience and brand consistency across digital properties.
- Photography & Multimedia Content - Coordinate and execute employee headshots and other basic visual content needs. - Edit and prepare photography assets for marketing and communications use. - Support basic video, multimedia, and visual content development as needed.
- Collaboration & Project Management - Partner with marketing, sales, business line leaders, and executive stakeholders to understand business objectives and translate them into effective creative solutions. - Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high quality standards. - Coordinate with external agencies, freelancers, printers, photographers, and production vendors. - Stay current on emerging design trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously enhance the organization's creative capabilities.
- Marketing Team Support - Support broader marketing initiatives beyond design responsibilities as business needs require. - Contribute to campaign execution, content development, event marketing, and other departmental activities. - Operate as a collaborative member of the marketing team with a willingness to contribute wherever needed to support organizational goals.
- Education - Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Marketing, Digital Media, Fine Arts, or a related field preferred. - Equivalent combination of education, training, and professional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in graphic design, creative services, marketing communications, or a related field.
- Advanced experience designing for both print and digital marketing channels, including brochures, direct mail, advertisements, signage, event materials, websites, email campaigns, social media, online advertising, and customer communications.
- Experience working with brand standards and managing creative consistency across multiple channels.
Preferred
- Preferred Technical Skills: Expert proficiency with Figma or other collaborative design platforms for design system management and cross-functional collaboration.
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat Pro, and related design applications.
- Design proficiency in Microsoft Office 360 suite including PowerPoint, Word, Windows Outlook and SharePoint.
- Working knowledge of WordPress, with the ability to design and update web pages, landing pages, and online content.
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS sufficient to collaborate effectively with web development and technology partners.
