Job Description

Responsibilities

Story Discovery and Development
Internal Story hunting: Embed yourself with engineering, product, and operations teams to identify technical achievements and human-interest stories that align with our brand pillars.
Format Agility: Adapt stories for multiple formats, for both internal and external content: a technical blog post, a 60-second "day-in-the-life" video, a LinkedIn article, or a photo essay.
Storyboarding: Draft scripts and visual storyboards that bridge the gap between complex AI concepts and relatable, accessible storytelling.
Content Creation
Production: Be ready to capture video and photo assets on the fly—whether it's an interview with a lead engineer or behind-the-scenes at a test track.
Writing: Write engaging social media posts, blogs posts and internal notes that position our technology as a market leader and showcases commitment to innovation and team work.
Short-Form Content: Produce and edit quick-turnaround social clips that feel authentic, human, and informative.
Storytelling
Technical Translation: Interview subject matter experts (SMEs) and translate "engineer-speak" into stories that resonate with the public, business partners, regulators, and investors.
External Voice: Help capture the "voice of our customers" through interviews and community stories.

Requirements

Experience: 4?7 years in journalism or content creation (bonus points for experience in tech, automotive, or aerospace).
Creative Experience:
Writing: Exceptional long-form and short-form copywriting skills.
Visual: Proficient in mobile or photography and videography.
Editing: Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud or similar tools to produce "ready-to-post" assets.
Curiosity: A natural storyteller and the ability to ask the right questions to uncover why a technology matters.
Portfolio Required: Must show a variety of work (e.g., articles, videos you scripted/shot, and social posts).
