Job Summary

Support Califia Farms' social content by creating original TikTok ideas, engaging creators, and analyzing performance to drive brand reach.

Own ideation and production of TikTok content aligned with trends and brand.
Identify and engage with up‑and‑coming TikTok creators to expand reach.
Assist with monthly reporting and performance-driven creative optimization.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Move quickly to compose TikTok content ideas that are original, relatable, fun, informational, and on brand, based upon trending sounds within the app
Identify and engage with up-and-coming TikTok content creators
Be self-sufficient with producing your own content
Participate in team brainstorms and content ideation
Support the team in discovering the Califia Farms niche on TikTok to drive brand awareness, engagement, and advocacy amongst Gen Z
Work with the social team to understand performance and growth metrics to adjust creative for optimizing posts
Assist Social Media Manager with monthly reporting on social performance
Engage with followers in DMs/comments where needed
Continually research social media news, updates, and trends to propose ideas on how Califia Farms can successfully show up on all platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, Pinterest, etc.)
Ad hoc support on projects that fall under the Social/Comms Team

Requirements

Candidates are typically pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
Excellent attention to details with strong organizational skills
Ability to multi-task with excellent follow through and task completion
Strong oral and written communication skills – writing samples may be requested
Strong team player, ability to work with diverse cross-functional teams
Problem solver, able to work independently to produce quality results
Thrives in fast-paced environment
Very comfortable behind (and in front of) a camera and passionate about creating video content
Innate user of social media and basic knowledge of what types of content perform well on the platform(s)
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
