Job Summary

You will own the creation and dissemination of marketing materials and support recruitment marketing and events for TAMS, coordinating content, campaigns, and on-campus representations while collaborating with the Marketing, Admissions, and Events teams.

Own production of marketing materials and digital content.
Lead coordination of recruitment events and on-campus representation.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Create physical and digital marketing materials for the department.
Assist with creating, vetting, and/or posting content for the department’s websites and social media sites.
Collaborate with the Director of Marketing and Events to develop and implement marketing strategies for the department.
Assist with organization, setup, and facilitation of TAMS recruitment events.
Coordinate, in collaboration with the Director of TAMS Admissions, recruitment efforts and presentation opportunities.
Represent TAMS on campus for recruitment efforts and events.
Collaborate with Director of Admissions on all elements of recruitment and marketing of the TAMS program.
Assist the Director of Marketing and events with the planning, organization, and coordination of departmental events.
Other duties as requested by Director of Admissions and Director of Marketing and Events

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in related field, or in communications, marketing, advertising, public relations; or any equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
Understanding of market segmentation, principles of marketing, integrated marketing communications principles and branding.
Ability to visually inspect copy material.
Competency in MS Office and requisite publishing, graphic design and media tools.
Ability to think creatively, organize tasks, work independently and meet deadlines.
Ability to use Associated Press style.
Strong communications skills.
Ability to conceptualize, plan and organize multiple programs and assignments effectively.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.

Preferred

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, or a related field, and one year of event planning experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
