Job Summary

Drive day-to-day administration of streaming partnerships and coordinate cross-team assets to enable timely priority releases for EMPIRE’s commerce initiatives.

  • Partnership Admin: manage setup and ongoing admin for Spotify, Apple Music, Pandora, Amazon Music, YouTube Music, SoundCloud, Tidal, and others.
  • Operations & Coordination: collate priority grids, maintain internal databases, recap notes, and align ad hoc projects with Product Marketing.
  • Asset Readiness & Release Execution: ensure artist images, bios, liners, and pitch information are prepared ahead of priority releases across teams.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Commerce team by handling day-to-day administration of key streaming partners including but not limited to Spotify, Apple Music, Pandora, Amazon Music, YouTube Music, Soundcloud, Tidal and more.
  • Support the EMPIRE Commerce team by collating and maintaining priority grids, internal databases, pitch notes, recap emails, weekly placements and ad hoc projects in real time.
  • Coordinate with the Product Marketing team to ensure all assets are in place ahead of priority releases - artist images, bios, liners, pitch information, etc.
  • Perform any other duties and tasks related to the Department's role and responsibilities that might be assigned by the Team's senior management from time to time.

Requirements

  • 2+ year(s) of experience at a record company, DSP or similar role
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
  • Must be based in San Francisco Bay Area [or willing to relocate]

Preferred

  • You love music and are savvy to ongoing trends in streaming & the music industry, and have basic knowledge of subscription streaming platforms & digital/social marketing strategy
  • You have strong verbal and written communication skills, plus the ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • You’re a proactive problem solver who can anticipate issues, create solutions, and implement them effectively
  • You can thrive when working both independently and collaboratively with a larger team, are open to feedback and a strong communicator
  • You have the ability to juggle multiple projects at a time and complete tasks fully
  • You're not afraid to ask questions and learn as you work
  • You pay meticulous attention to detail
