Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with ALERRT’s mission, training initiatives, and outreach goals.
  • Create, curate, and publish high-quality, relevant, and engaging content (graphics, videos, photos, articles, and posts) across platforms including Facebook, Twitter/X, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • Collaborate with ALERRT curriculum and training coordinators, subject matter experts, and university partners to promote upcoming courses, events, success stories, and institutional announcements.
  • Monitor social media trends, tools, and best practices to ensure content remains fresh and impactful.

Requirements

  • 5 years of demonstrated professional experience in creating and managing social media initiatives on a variety of social media platforms.
  • Excellent knowledge of business account management of all social media channels including Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and more.
  • Demonstrated experience with social media data collection and analytics.
  • A portfolio of work demonstrates the ability to tell complex stories in relatable terms.
  • Proven ability to work on multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent customer service skills.

Preferred

  • Law Enforcement and first responder experience.
  • Social Media video creation experience.
