Job Summary

Support Contentful’s external and internal communications and marketing work, helping craft content, coordinate campaigns, and learn how a modern DXP operates.

Own drafting and editing content for internal channels and assist with external storytelling and campaigns.
Assist with trend monitoring, research, and idea generation for pitches and speaking opportunities.
Work on a culminating project that blends communications and marketing strategy.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Support external storytelling, including launches, campaigns, and media outreach efforts
Conduct trendspotting and monitor industry conversations to identify timely opportunities for proactive pitching and creative angle development
Draft materials for speaking opportunities and award submissions and manage key deadlines
Track media coverage and contribute to reporting
Draft and edit content for internal channels to support company updates, initiatives, and key internal moments
Manage and update internal editorial calendars to ensure content is planned and delivered on time
Partner with cross-functional teams to gather information and ensure clear, aligned communication
Help shape and execute a keystone thought leadership project
Contribute to content creation across blog and social channels, as needed
Support campaign execution through research, copy development, and asset coordination

Requirements

Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Media Studies, or a related field
Strong written communication skills with attention to tone, clarity, and detail
Interest in both communications and marketing, including content, brand, and campaigns
A strong sense of curiosity and desire to understand how things work
Interest in AI, emerging technologies, and new tools shaping communications and marketing (hands-on experience not required)
Organized and comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines
Proactive, thoughtful, and eager to learn
