Job Summary

Support and own the agency's communications and outreach by helping to implement plans, manage branding, digital channels, and materials, and by representing the agency at events.

Assist in implementing communications plan
Manage website and electronic newsletter
Develop outreach documents and resources

Job Description

Responsibilities

Assisting in the implementation of agency communications plan.
Agency-wide branding activities.
Assisting with the management of agency web site and electronic newsletter.
Creation of documents and other resources utilized for general outreach (e.g.,brochures, flyers, exhibit displays, etc.).
Assisting with the enhancement of agency social media activities including the drafting and uploading content as appropriate, and evaluating reach andengagement.
Represent the agency at resource and outreach events and activities.
Other activities as assigned.

Requirements

1-3 years of relevant experience or education in communications, marketing or related field.
Self-starter.
General knowledge of and understanding of branding principles.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to organize activities and prioritize assignments.
Ability to use sound judgment.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with general office operation helpful.
Desire and ability to work collaboratively with others.
Ability to work independently.
