Job Description
Responsibilities
- Social Media: Assist in planning, creating, and publishing content across all Metro Chamber, Foundation, PAC, and Speakers Series social media channels.
- This includes LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and X
- Maintain a unified social media calendar, coordinating with program leads and staff to ensure alignment across all entities.
- Monitor engagement and community interactions, respond to comments and messages, and track performance analytics.
- Support paid social campaigns, audience growth strategies, and reporting on digital performance.
- Email Marketing: Assist in building and deploying email campaigns through Constant Contact and/or GrowthZone, including newsletters, announcements, and event promotions for all Metro Chamber entities.
- Maintain and update segmented email lists across programs and audiences.
- Draft, proofread, and edit copy for newsletters, e-blasts, and announcements, ensuring tone and branding consistency.
- Collect and analyze email metrics to inform continuous improvement.
- Marketing Project Coordination: Coordinate project timelines, vendor communications, and deliverables for marketing and communications requests.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field, or equivalent work experience preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in marketing, communications, or digital content management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to accuracy and detail.
- Proficiency in social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X).
- Experience with email marketing tools (Constant Contact, Mailchimp, or similar).
- Familiarity with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
