At South Alabama Land Trust, we protect more than land — we protect the soul of coastal Alabama. Since 1990, we’ve worked to preserve the edges of our state: the wild places where land meets water, where bogs, marshes, and estuaries form the beating heart of our environmental health. Through land acquisition, conservation easements, and partnerships — including our long-standing alliance with the Weeks Bay Reserve — we’ve permanently protected over 10,000 acres in Baldwin and Mobile counties.We are a Nationally Accredited Land Trust committed to action. Backed by over 550 members, donors, and sponsors, we fight every day to keep our coastlines undeveloped, our waters clean, and our ecosystems thriving. The land we protect will never be sold.
