Kamel Ride is a university-powered intercity carpooling social media platform.We connect students and young professionals traveling between cities—through trusted communities, not strangers. Drivers post upcoming trips, and riders book after checking mutual connections, shared schools, or workplaces.Built on social trust and planned routes—not on-demand gigs—Kamel Ride creates a safer, more human way to travel. We launched at Cornell and are building a regional network across the Northeast.Why now?Intercity travel is broken—buses are expensive and slow, trains are limited, and solo driving is wasteful. We're reimagining mobility with a model that puts people and purpose first.
