Family and Youth Initiative (DCFYI)

Family and Youth Initiative (DCFYI) is a Washington DC non-profit dedicated to decreasing the number of children who leave foster care without the support of a permanent, caring adult.We're a direct service organization, providing host parents and mentors for teens in foster care. Through regular events and advocacy we help teens find adoptive families and others who are committed to supporting them and being in their lives long-term.DCFYI is the only Washington DC area organization focused solely on helping teens in foster care find adoptive families and create lasting relationships with other caring adults..
