Cat Adoption Team (CAT) is the Pacific Northwest’s largest nonprofit, feline-only animal shelter. Our mission is to save the lives of cats and to work with our community to provide feline expertise and quality programs and services for people and cats.Currently we achieve this mission by:• Providing shelter, medical care, evaluation, and treatment to cats who have become homeless• Finding homes for the cats and kittens in our care• Providing people who care for cats with resources, education, and support to help keep human-animal bonds strong and prevent cats from becoming homeless• Offering low-cost spay/ neuter services to support people in caring for their pet cats• Working closely with other organizations to implement projects and programs that positively impact cats and people at a community and regional levelMore than 60,000 cats and kittens have found loving new homes through the Cat Adoption Team since our founding in 1998. Those currently awaiting adoption receive daily care from a trained, dedicated group of staff and volunteers.CAT works closely with animal welfare organizations, animal control agencies, veterinary offices, and other shelters to care for and rehome cats or kittens who may otherwise face euthanasia. We are dedicated to finding the right home for every feline we take in.We believe everyone deserves the love, laughter, and companionship that cats bring into our lives.
