Capital University

Capital University is a private four-year undergraduate institution and graduate school located in the Columbus, Ohio, community of Bexley. Founded in 1830, it is the oldest and one of the largest universities affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. We are a comprehensive, independent university grounded in the Lutheran tradition. With a focus on rigor and experiential learning, we capitalize on our size, location, and heritage to develop the whole person, both inside and outside the classroom.
