Job Summary
Own the design and execution of multi-channel customer selections, collaborating with CRM managers to translate briefs into targeted audiences and optimize CRM communications across campaigns.
Job Description
Responsibilities
- To design and create customer selections and output of customer data for email, push, sms, direct marketing, social and digital audiences.
- To work closely with the CRM Managers to understand Waitrose campaign targeting needs; translate campaign briefs into effective targeting and audience selection to meet commercial and business objectives and enable relevant communications for multiple audiences and segmentations.
- Identify and interpret new opportunities or improvements to meet goals and ambitions for our CRM communication programmes.
- Support and input into data strategies to ensure that CRM and broader Channels team have access to the required data to enhance our communications and deliver against our strategy.
- Support and enable automation across selections to streamline processes
Requirements
- Experience of working in a campaign operations team within a transactional data intensive organisation (preferably retail)
- Strong CRM experience and understanding
- Strong experience within ESP, preferably Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Experience of using campaign management tools to execute campaigns
- Strong SQL and data manipulation skills
- Strong analytical approach
- Ability to balance customer and commercial priorities
- Good understanding of technical CDP, preferably Data Cloud
- Good verbal and written communication skills
Preferred
- Salesforce Suite understanding and qualifications
- Qualifications in marketing
- Retail experience
- Strong agency management experience
