Conduct marketing research to identify industry trends and commercial opportunities
Develop and implement a marketing strategy aligned with the company’s objectives and budget
Prepare and present detailed proposals and marketing plans
Advise on branding, positioning, communications and other marketing issues
Give direction to marketing efforts with the most effective methods and tools
Monitor marketing projects and analyze the results
Write reports with suggestions for improvements or new ideas

There could also be tasks completely unrelated to marketing such as picking up the phone and calling a customer and to collect an order.

Requirements

Proven experience as a marketing consultant or similar role
Exquisite knowledge of data analysis and market research
In-depth knowledge of marketing principles and best practices
Proficient in MS Office/Working knowledge of IT and marketing software (e.g. CRM)
Ability to think strategically and analytically
Apt in writing useful proposals and reports
Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal and presentation skills
Outstanding organizational abilities
Aptitude in problem-solving
BS/BA in marketing, communications, business or relevant field; MS/MA will be a plus
