Job Description

Responsibilities

Understand key material topics relevant to clients and stay informed on ESG, sustainability and social impact trends
Stay up to date on trends and best practices in ESG and sustainability, sharing insights with the team
Use research and media tools to track relevant issues, monitor conversations and proactively share insights with teams
Conduct research, synthesize findings and provide actionable insights to inform client strategy and communications
Contribute to developing and executing strategic, integrated communications plans for clients with clear, well-supported recommendations
Develop client-ready materials such as reports, briefs, media materials, social content, presentations and thought leadership content
Own assigned tasks from kickoff through completion with clear documentation and follow-through
Support operational excellence by keeping trackers, timelines and shared documents accurate and up to date, flagging risks, blockers or resourcing needs early

Requirements

1+ years of experience in PR, preferably in an agency setting with corporate/purpose/CSR clients a plus
Experience in client and account management
Knowledge of ESG, sustainability and/or social impact strategy and communications
Familiar with best practices in ESG, sustainability and social impact communication
Practical understanding of integrated marketing communications
Skilled in creating and activating communications programs
Strong writing, organizational and presentation skills
Ability to synthesize complex ESG and P&I topics into clear, concise, client-ready materials

Preferred

Demonstrated ability to take ownership of deliverables, apply feedback thoughtfully and reduce rework over time
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Proactive, resourceful and adaptable in a dynamic field
Collaborative, results-driven and able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
