Responsibilities

Build the funnel. Define and instrument the provider acquisition → activation funnel, with metrics by vertical, channel and cohort.
Run experiments fast. Launch rapid tests across email, SMS, calls, messaging and in-product onboarding to find the playbooks that convert best, then scale them.
Own lifecycle journeys. Design automated journeys that take providers from prospect → claimed profile → active lead recipient → paying customer.
Scale the channels that work. Find and grow the highest-leverage channels, including direct outreach, product-led acquisition and strategic distribution partnerships.
Shape the product. Feed channel, messaging and funnel learnings back to Product and Engineering to improve onboarding and provider value.
Use AI and automation. Use automation and AI agents to lower acquisition and activation costs while improving retention and monetization.
Expand the engine. Take proven motions from the first priority home-service verticals to new verticals and geographies.

Requirements

Senior experience in growth or product growth, with a track record of scaling acquisition or activation funnels
Experience growing SMB, marketplace or local-provider supply
Strong funnel analytics skills: comfortable defining metrics, building cohort views and finding bottlenecks in the data
Hands-on lifecycle marketing expertise (email, SMS, messaging) and rigorous A/B testing and experiment design
Deep understanding of acquisition, activation and retention mechanics
A hands-on, bias-for-action style and comfort with ambiguity in an early-stage setting
Real empathy for small-business owners and what drives their decisions

Preferred

Experience in home services, local marketplaces, SMB SaaS or lead generation
Monetization experience (pricing, packaging, conversion to paid)
CRM and marketing automation expertise (e.g., Braze, Klaviyo, HubSpot)
Experience building distribution partnerships
Experience using AI to drive growth
Strong product instincts and commercial judgment
We especially value people who have scaled SMB or provider supply through product and lifecycle levers. This role is not a traditional enterprise BD or field-sales role.
