Own end-to-end social video production for restaurant and hospitality brands, from concept and shooting to post‑production and posting, while collaborating with the Creative Director and Head of Social in NYC/Brooklyn.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Help shape social content strategy: the story, the concept and how we'll shoot and edit it.
Plan shoots and turn ideas into clear shot lists.
Shoot high-production short-form video using professional camera equipment.
Edit and take content through post-production, with a strong sense of pacing, hooks and storytelling.
Follow social trends and bring ideas that fit each client's brand and audience.
Work alongside our other editor, who handles our iPhone content.
Work closely with our Creative Director and Head of Social, who you'll report to directly.

Requirements

Experience creating social content for restaurants, food or beverage brands, or hospitality businesses.
A portfolio showing similar work, including videos you personally shot and edited.
Confidence using professional camera equipment.
The ability to connect creative ideas to a client's brand and social goals, then carry those ideas through shooting and editing.
Someone who takes feedback well, wants to keep improving and can work closely with a small team.
Based in NYC or Brooklyn and able to work in the office and on site at shoots.
Available to start within the next two weeks.
