Job Summary

Own the end-to-end social content pipeline for ISC events and coordinate cross-team efforts.

Lead content creation and posting for social media
Coordinate event support and interdepartmental collaboration

Job Description

Responsibilities

Shooting video, taking photos, editing, creating captions, and posting to social media.
Research current social trends, styles, and applications.
Upload, organize and maintain digital files in Dropbox.
Develop a simple content plan for each assigned ISC event including ideas for photos, reels, short form videos, and other social media content.
Strictly adheres to Liberty University policies, representing the University in an exemplary manner.
Works effectively as a team member, embracing and fostering LU’s Christian model and Mission – Training Champions for Christ.
Provide support for all department events including research, planning, and logistics
Coordinate internal and external collaborations and manage communications with other departments and external vendors
Assist with event promotions (tabling, handing out flyers, etc.)
Interact with students and manage swiper at events

Requirements

LU Undergraduate or Graduate student
Eligible for Work-Study
Ability to work 18-20 hours per week
Flexible schedule: some weekends and evenings required
Experience in content creation (social media strategy or management, copywriting, etc.)
Ability to use Adobe Suite
Must be able to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive student information
The ideal applicant will give a minimum 1-year commitment to the position
