Job Description

Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive public relations strategies that elevate STACK’s brand awareness, reputation, and industry leadership
Lead proactive and reactive media relations efforts across trade, technology, business, infrastructure, and regional media outlets
Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, analysts, industry influencers, and communications partners
Identify newsworthy company developments and drive earned media opportunities that support business objectives
Draft and manage press releases, executive messaging, talking points, speeches, op-eds, briefing materials, and media statements
Support product, market expansion, sustainability, client, and corporate announcement strategies
Monitor and triage in-bound media requests
Lead reputation management initiatives that reinforce STACK’s position as a trusted leader in digital infrastructure
Develop communications strategies that translate complex technical infrastructure topics into clear and compelling storytelling
Partner with subject matter experts to develop strategic messaging platforms and narrative frameworks

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or related discipline preferred
10+ years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, or media relations
Significant experience leading strategic communications and executive visibility initiatives
Proven ability to work in a highly regulated, matrixed environment
Experience managing multiple media relations and earned media campaigns
Strong understanding of reputation management and crisis communications
Experience within infrastructure, technology, telecommunications, real estate, energy, or data center industries preferred
Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
Proven ability to build relationships with executives, media, industry partners, and cross-functional teams
Experience managing multiple priorities and fast-moving projects simultaneously
