Job Description
Own consumer PR and storytelling across brand moments that shape culture, while coordinating with executive comms and ambassador programs to drive strategic partnerships and media impact.
- Lead consumer and lifestyle PR, managing relationships with the press who shape culture.
- Own brand storytelling across external channels, ensuring consistency and creative quality in every piece of content that carries the Virgin Galactic name.
- Write press releases, pitches, web content, and briefing documents.
- Write and edit content for executive communications, including op-eds, remarks, talking points, and LinkedIn posts.
- Plan and execute consumer PR campaigns, including program development for our astronaut ambassador program.
- Develop communications that support, enhance and amplify our commercial partnerships.
- Lead campaign ideation and execution with the broader marketing team, from concept through to delivery.
- Manage relationships with a select portfolio of journalists and influencers across consumer and lifestyle.
- Coordinate with external PR agencies on day-to-day deliverables and ensure alignment with internal priorities.
- Contribute to editorial calendars, story pipelines, and announcement planning.
