Job Summary

Own the social content and live streaming narrative for Midwest sports fans, balancing platform specific storytelling with real time events and audience engagement.

  • Content Engine: Build and publish platform tailored posts, clips, and short-form videos while aligning with brand voice.
  • Live & Events: Help schedule and manage live streams, clip highlights, and event-driven campaigns with broadcast allies.
  • Growth & Community: Steer analytics-driven engagement, trend adaptation, and reader feedback into repeatable growth loops.

Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute social media strategies across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, X/Twitter, Facebook, YouTube).
  • Create, schedule, and publish engaging daily content tailored to each platform.
  • Monitor analytics to track KPIs for performance, engagement, and growth.
  • Engage with followers, respond to comments/messages, and foster a sense of community.
  • Coordinate social campaigns around key sports events, streaming content, and breaking news.
  • Stay up to date on trends in sports and digital media to keep our content fresh and relevant.
  • Assist in scheduling and managing live sports streams via our platform and app, working closely with broadcast and production teams to ensure quality content.
  • Oversee the presentation and upkeep of social media accounts.
  • Interact with followers, respond to queries and monitor reader reviews, feedback and mentions.
  • Assist in website management to ensure a local and up-to-date content experience for readers.
