Job Summary

Own the hands-on content, SEO, and campaign execution workflow for a marketing function focused on students and academic audiences, with frequent updates to websites and collateral, plus dashboards to track activity.

  • Content & SEO: keyword research, on-page updates, and third-party site refreshes to boost visibility.
  • Campaign execution & analytics: draft and deploy emails, amplify social posts, and maintain performance dashboards for paid, web, and email channels.
  • Collaboration & assets: partner with design/web teams on assets and audits, and coordinate events and outreach to students, faculty, and alumni.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Support SEO and AEO efforts through content creation, keyword research; updating content on third-party sites
  • Support execution of integrated marketing campaigns including drafting and deploying email campaigns, boosting social media posts
  • Collaborate with Marketing Manager and/or Web Developer on design projects
  • Coordinate website and collateral content audit and assist with updates to website and marketing assets
  • Manage outreach to students, faculty and alums for any research, branding & marketing projects
  • Enter and update events, images and institutional information in a partner website to ensure accurate and engaging representation
  • Maintain marketing calendars, campaign trackers, and documentation
  • Creation of and data entry into performance dashboards related to paid advertising, website performance, email performance and integrated marketing campaigns (Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Research advertising and sponsorship opportunities for degree programs and professional development
  • Complete competitive analysis for degree programs and professional development offerings

Requirements

  • Current undergraduate (junior or senior)/graduate student or recent graduate in Marketing, Communications, Design or related field.
  • Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office Suite and Excel
  • Strong project management skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Keeps abreast of marketing and design trends

Preferred

  • Marketing, communications, social media, copywriting/content creation experience a plus
  • Experience with design software like Canva and Adobe is a plus
  • Experience with Google Analytics a plus
