Job Description
Responsibilities
Lead the development and execution of strategic press campaigns for ready-to-wear, accessories, footwear, and adjacent fashion categories
Drive high-impact media placements across leading fashion titles, including Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, WWD, The Cut, Fashionista, Elle, and relevant digital and broadcast outlets
Experienced across social first outlets and new media like podcasts, panels, substack
Experience in affiliate media programming
Experience working on talent-led initiatives with celebrities
Build and own a seasonal press calendar aligned to fashion weeks, key retail moments, and brand milestones
Concept and execute showroom events, press previews, editor appointments, and sample gifting programs
Craft sharp, editor-ready pitches, press releases, and lookbook narratives that reflect each client's aesthetic and brand voice
Maintain and expand a robust network of fashion editors, stylists, writers, and digital tastemakers
Serve as the lead client contact for all assigned fashion accounts, delivering strategic counsel and consistent communication
Lead status calls, reporting, and seasonal strategy presentations with confidence and clarity
Monitor media coverage, competitive landscape, and fashion industry trends to provide proactive recommendations to clients
Manage budgets, scopes of work, and project timelines with precision and accountability
Manage and develop junior team members within the fashion press department, fostering a culture of creativity and rigor
Partner with Walker Drawas's digital, social, and experiential teams on integrated, multi-channel campaigns
Play an active role in new business development — from identifying leads to building and presenting pitches for prospective fashion clients
Represent the fashion department in agency-wide initiatives and creative planning sessions
