Job Summary

Own school level communications with three departments, shaping multi-channel campaigns and brand consistency while coordinating with designers, translators and school leaders.

  • Three schools/departments plan, launch, and track timelines and outcomes across campaigns
  • Lead content creation, design guidance, and messaging for diverse audiences including multilingual families
  • Manage multiple projects end to end as the primary point of contact with attention to detail

Job Description

  • Communications Strategy: Collaborate with designated school leaders to implement marketing plans for at least three schools or departments and align outcomes with district goals.
  • Plan & Execution: Research, create timelines, develop content, provide design guidance, manage budgets, and handle day-to-day school-level communications needs.
  • Comprehensive Support: Branding, collateral, internal/external signage, student recruitment/retention, digital communications, newsletters, advertising, direct mail, media relations, events, and calendars.
  • Internal & Stakeholder Communications: Design and manage school-level internal communications and multi-stakeholder updates across students, educators, families, and community members.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with graphic designers, translators, and the school marketing team to ensure messaging consistency across platforms and languages.
  • Project Management: Serve as primary point of contact for identified schools, coordinating timelines, resources, and multiple projects with attention to detail.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related field preferred.
  • 3-5 years experience in communications, marketing, public relations, or internal communications.
  • 2+ years stakeholder engagement and outreach to diverse communities.
  • Colorado driver’s license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record for the past three years.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail) and Canva or Adobe for design.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications, with ability to tailor messaging to varied audiences, including families for whom English is not first language.
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and collaboration with others on a team.
  • Willingness to travel to sites across the District and work flexible hours to support school leaders.
  • Commitment to equity and dismantling systems of oppression to ensure all students have access to high-quality education.
  • Residence in Colorado preferred.
  • Ability to meet physical demands of the position with or without accommodations.
