Owns day-to-day public information operations for NMCD, shaping messaging, coordinating media responses with the PIO, and driving online content and reports, while meeting a two-year experience requirement and maintaining a valid New Mexico driver’s license.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Collaborates with the Public Information Officer on day-to-day media operations
Generates web and social media content for NMCD in line with NMCD's core values
Works with the PIO in coordinating responses to the general public and media when necessary
Develops proper messaging and Online strategies to communicate effectively
Works with the PIO in publishing public reports and other written content

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent and two (2) years of office administration or public relations experience. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling two (2) years may substitute for the required experience.
Pre-employment background investigation is required and employment is conditional pending results. Must possess and maintain a valid New Mexico Driver's License.
