Job Summary
Own the end-to-end proposal development process, coordinating editors, writers, and graphics to deliver compliant, client-ready responses while guiding kickoff, reviews, and production milestones.
- Ownership of the proposal lifecycle from kickoff to delivery across business lines and multimedia collateral.
- Collaborate with sales and proposal managers to reflect client requirements and maintain format consistency.
- Manage timelines, resources, and production quality to hit deadlines and support winning qualifications and presentations.
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Provide a center of excellence for proposal development and production, coordinating editing, writing, formatting, graphics, desktop publishing, presentations, production, and systems to support sales and marketing requirements.
- Plan, organize, coordinate, and control the development process of proposals, qualifications, client presentations, internal publications, and multimedia marketing collateral to meet objectives.
- Define scope of work, develop compliance checklists, set production schedules, manage services/resources, and track special requirements to meet deadlines.
- Collaborate with the proposal manager and business line sales to produce proposals that reflect client requirements.
- Lead or participate in kickoff meetings, proposal reviews, and planning meetings.
- Organize input collection during development and ensure format consistency across proposal collateral.
- Provide editorial, coordination, and management services to produce responsive, clear, and readable documents and reports.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Accredited four-year degree or global equivalent with six years of related experience, or ten years total with equivalent education/experience; local qualifications may vary.
- Ability to communicate effectively with management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors.
- Job-related technical knowledge to complete the role.
- Ability to learn and apply applicable statutes and guidelines.
- Attention to detail and time-conscious, time-efficient work style.
Preferred
- Degree or equivalent experience in English, marketing, communications, design, or business preferred.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.
- Strong writing and editing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- High attention to detail and ability to handle fluctuating demand and after-hours work as needed.
- Flexible schedule and ability to adapt to a high-paced corporate environment.
- Experience managing others with minimal supervision.
- Applied marketing principles to Fluor’s business activities.
