Job Description
Responsibilities
- Oversee and guide the marketing department, planning, coordinating, and directing all marketing efforts.
- Develop and execute organization-wide annual marketing strategies aligned with management and leadership goals.
- Conduct competitor research and assess demand for services to identify potential customers and client needs.
- Develop pricing and promotional strategies to maximize market share while balancing customer satisfaction.
- Present marketing analytics, budgets, research, and performance reports to executive leadership.
- Use customer feedback to continuously ensure and improve client satisfaction.
- Maintain, position, and strengthen the Connexus brand and affiliated agency brands.
- Serve as the primary media liaison, building relationships with local and regional outlets.
- Develop press releases, media kits, and coordinate television, radio, print, and digital media opportunities.
- Prepare executives for interviews, manage crisis communication, and protect organizational reputation.
Requirements
- Solid knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends, SEMrush).
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, and WordPress.
- Exceptional copywriting skills with a strong knowledge of correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
- Good command of written and spoken English; ability to speak effectively before large or small groups.
- Familiarity with clerical and administrative procedures.
Preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, or related field
- Master's Degree
- Three (3) years of progressively responsible marketing experience
- Nonprofit marketing, healthcare, or human services experience
- Proven ability to manage budgets and multiple stakeholders
- Supervisory experience
- High competence in project management
- Google Ads and Google Analytics certifications
- Experience with digital/social media and content marketing
- Experience with CRM, CMS (WordPress), and automation
