Job Description

Responsibilities

Develop and execute comprehensive content distribution strategies across social media services to maximize reach, engagement, and monetization of Wondery creators’ content
Build specialized in-house expertise for each service, including deep understanding of algorithms, audience behaviors, and technical specifications.
Cultivate relationships with distribution services, negotiate platform partnerships, and represent Amazon Creator Services in all platform partner meetings, conferences, and events.
Develop and share platform-specific best practices and guidance that help our creator partners grow their audiences to achieve monetization goals
Build with AI to find opportunities for automation, optimization, and workflow improvements.
Partner closely with Creator Ad Partnerships to ensure distribution strategies support monetization goals and scale ad/sponsorship opportunities.
Develop distribution approaches that optimize for high-value inventory and premium sponsorship opportunities.
Build analytics capabilities to measure content performance, identify growth opportunities, and translate data into insights and actionable strategies that drive revenue growth.

Requirements

3+ years of business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business experience
3+ years of solving problems with technology in the Media & Entertainment Industry experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
6+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
6+ years of business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business experience
5+ years of experience in content distribution, platform growth, or digital media strategy across social media platforms (e.g., Meta, TikTok, YouTube)
5+ years of experience in business development, platform partnerships, or partner management within media, entertainment, or creator economy
Experience analyzing content performance data and translating insights into actionable growth strategies
Experience developing and executing distribution strategies that drive measurable audience growth, engagement, and monetization outcomes

Preferred

Experience in online advertising or high-tech products/services
Experience scaling a publisher monetization product or service
Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
5+ years of experience managing platform relationships and negotiating distribution or partnership agreements with major social media services
Demonstrated track record of growing creator or media brand audiences across Meta and/or TikTok, with quantifiable results in reach, engagement, or revenue
Experience building scalable workflows, automation tools, or AI-driven solutions that improve content distribution efficiency and performance optimization
Deep expertise in platform-specific algorithms, audience behaviors, content formats, and technical specifications across ad-supported distribution channels
Experience partnering with ad sales, sponsorship, or monetization teams to align distribution strategies with revenue goals and premium inventory optimization
Experience in podcast, audio, or multi-format content distribution within the creator or entertainment space
