Own the data and analytics stack powering direct marketing: ensure data integrity across databases, build and optimize segmentation and queries, and enable operational improvements while mentoring teammates.

Data quality and Reporting: develop queries, reconcile datasets, and deliver ad-hoc analyses for marketing programs.
Direct Marketing & Segmentation: maintain segmentation models, support NCOA and data hygiene, and guide outreach strategies.
Operations & Enablement: coordinate testing with IT, drive process improvements, and train staff on analytic tools.

Responsibilities

Creates an atmosphere that induces guests to make Hard Rock Casino Rockford their choice for gaming entertainment; responsible for actively building and retaining guest relations and acts as a mentor to team members in order to provide superior guest service.
Responsible for the ongoing development and maintenance of database segmentation models.
Accurately create and modify existing database queries to extract data for direct marketing programs.
Manipulate and sort lists in preparation for direct marketing vendors.
Create, manage and distribute direct marketing reports.
Reconcile data across multiple databases to ensure accuracy in reporting and direct marketing lists.
Research and recommend effective direct marketing approaches.
Assist with NCOA and other data hygiene efforts.
Supports all operational department needs, helping to identify and implement process improvements.
Serves as a training resource on analytic programming tools and methods.

Requirements

Associate or Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
Must obtain and maintain all licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Illinois Gaming Board
Must successfully pass background check
Prior experience in the Gaming industry preferred
Must be twenty-one (21) years of age
Must be able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts
Prior experience opening new properties/outlets strongly preferred
SQL Server Management Studio/Query tools required (intermediate to advanced skills)
Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced skills) required
Microsoft Word, Access, and Powerpoint required

Preferred

Tableau or similar data visualization software preferred
Bally’s CMP, EBS, Kiosk and BI Tool experience preferred
Prior experience opening new properties/outlets strongly preferred
