Job Summary
Own the end-to-end promotional engine for Matco, shaping plans, pricing, and performance insights across meetings, seminars, and events.
- Promotional Planning: Create and execute plans for District Sales Meetings, Diagnostics, Loot, and substitutes.
- Analytics & Optimization: Build reporting and models to guide pricing, margin, and promo effectiveness.
- Cross-Functional Launches: Partner with Product, Sales, and Purchasing on launches and market feedback to steer campaigns.
Job Description
- Prepare and implement marketing promotional plans for District Sales Meetings, Diagnostic Seminars, Loot, and others.
- Evaluates promotional performance and makes changes to meet company goals and objectives.
- Works with Product Management, Sales, and Purchasing Agents on product launches and advises of any relevant concerns.
- Recommends changes to current promotional plans and procedures based on market research and new trends.
- Manage all aspects of Matco’s promotional strategy
- Design and implement reporting tools that track key metrics and performance trends and provide actionable insights to marketing leadership
- Develop quantitative analysis, ad hoc reports, and models to support promotional decision making. Analysis areas might include (but not limited to): purchase patterns, price elasticity, usage and engagement, and maximizing revenue & margin.
- Daily use of Vontier Business Systems (VBS) and analysis tools to make mix / margin improvements and improvements across the promotional processes.
- Maintain accurate pricing for all promotional activities
- Revenue & margin management to target and review for pricing accuracy
