Responsibilities

Assists in planning, coordinating, and organizing various work assignments and projects.
Assists in the preparation and distribution of external communications materials, such as social media posts, digital graphics, etc.
Assists in the preparation and implementation of internal communications materials, such as newsletters, internal department messages from leadership, and more.
Assists in the preparation and dissemination of general correspondence, such as emails, spreadsheets, letters, reports, presentations, and other documents.
Provides back-up support to other members of the Communications Office as needed.
Other related duties, as assigned.

Requirements

Knowledge of administrative principles and practices
Knowledge of general office procedures and practices
Skill in listening to and understanding the needs of both internal and external customers in a courteous, respectful and effective manner
Skill in independent planning, coordinating, completing and tracking the status of assignments
Skill in Microsoft Office Suite such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and TEAMS;
Skill in planning, organizing and coordinating work assignments.
Skill in following oral and written instructions
Skill in typing and using correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others
