Own and execute marketing communications programs that align with GFT’s strategic priorities, translate complex technology into clear messages, and drive measurable results.
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Support the development, execution, and measurement of marketing communications plans, strategies, and tactics in support of assigned focus areas and help align marketing activities with GFT’s Strategic Plan and business priorities.
- Understand business line positioning, differentiators, client needs, and industry trends to develop and execute thought leadership strategies and evaluate marketing effectiveness through measurable results.
- Partner with technical professionals and business leaders to translate complex ideas into clear, compelling marketing messages and communications.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and MarCom leaders to coordinate and execute integrated marketing campaigns across channels that support business objectives.
- Develop and maintain marketing communications materials, including award submissions, announcements, presentations, website copy, collateral, email communications, and social media materials.
- Coordinate trade shows, conferences, and special events, including planning support, logistics, promotional activities, and post-event follow-up.
- Track marketing activities and performance metrics, contributing insights to support continuous improvement and informed decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in corporate communications or marketing.
- Strategic Messaging & Communications - Creates clear, compelling, audience-focused content that translates technical concepts into meaningful stories, demonstrates market expertise, supports business objectives, and maintains brand standards.
- Project & Workflow Management - Independently manages multiple assignments, prioritizes work, meets deadlines, and follows established processes and quality expectations.
- Marketing Strategy Execution - Understands business goals and marketing plans, contributes research and insights, and executes tactics that support strategic objectives.
- Marketing & Communications Expertise - Applies best practices across marketing disciplines while continuously building industry knowledge and functional expertise.
- Business & Market Acumen - Demonstrates understanding of GFT's business, services, clients, markets, and the BD&M lifecycle to inform decisions and work products.
- Communication & Collaboration - Communicates effectively across audiences, collaborates with colleagues and stakeholders, and contributes positively to team success.
- Problem Solving & Judgment - Uses critical thinking, sound judgment, curiosity, and adaptability to identify solutions and make informed decisions.
- Quality, Brand Stewardship & Relationship Building - Produces high-quality work, applies brand standards consistently, builds trust, and develops productive stakeholder relationships.
Preferred
- Experience marketing professional services, architecture, engineering, construction, consulting, or related industries.
- Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM) certification.
