Own end-to-end PR strategy and client programs across multiple accounts, serving as a senior advisor, building strong client relationships, shaping storytelling and media outreach, leading launches, and mentoring the team.

Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day strategy and execution across multiple client accounts
Serve as a senior strategic advisor and trusted point of contact for clients
Build strong relationships with clients and understand their businesses, goals, challenges, and competitive landscape
Develop and execute communications strategies that generate meaningful visibility and strengthen client reputation
Create compelling story ideas, messaging, media strategies, launch plans, and executive positioning programs
Lead media relations efforts and proactively pitch reporters, editors, producers, podcast hosts, and influencers
Build and maintain strong relationships across relevant business, industry, trade, consumer, and mainstream media
Identify news hooks, trends, cultural moments, and opportunities that can create visibility for clients
Write and edit press releases, media pitches, thought leadership, bylines, executive communications, presentations, and other client materials
Lead product launches, company announcements, funding announcements, executive appointments, events, and other major communications initiatives

Requirements

Significant experience working in a PR agency environment, with experience at the Account Director or comparable senior level
A strong track record of managing client relationships and leading communications programs
Proven media relationships and the ability to consistently secure meaningful coverage
Experience developing and executing media strategies across digital, print, broadcast, podcasts, newsletters, and other relevant platforms
Excellent pitching, writing, storytelling, and communication skills
Strong strategic thinking and the ability to turn business objectives into smart communications strategies
Confidence working directly with CEOs, founders, executives, and other senior-level clients
Strong presentation skills and the ability to clearly explain recommendations and ideas
Ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a team while remaining hands-on with the work
Ability to manage multiple accounts, deadlines, and competing priorities without losing attention to detail
