Job Summary

Own client delivery and media programs for tech and fintech accounts, turning plans into earned coverage and strategic momentum.

Client Delivery: Oversee events, launches, and media programs from concept to execution with budgets, timelines, reports, and junior staff
Media Relations: Build editorial relationships and secure national, trade, and regional coverage
Strategic Counsel: Bring ideas and campaign thinking to keep clients relevant and visible

Job Description

Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional client service and corporate account/project management
Facilitate and develop strategic plans/programs, including, but not limited to, press materials, media campaigns, and strategic partnerships
Lead specific media efforts focused on fostering impactful editorial relationships and generating significant media coverage
Demonstrate the ability to successfully execute a full range of written materials, including client correspondence, press releases, media pitches, status reports, and more
Oversee client projects (including events, launches, and media programs) from concept to execution—managing budgets, timelines, status updates, reporting, and junior staff, as needed
Bring industry/category contacts to the table, where appropriate
Communicate new and significant ideas to keep our clients relevant in the industry, from press pitches to contributing strategic thinking for campaigns
Serve as client point-of-contact on assigned accounts, coordinating multiple projects

Requirements

BA/BS in public relations, journalism, business communications, or related field
2+ years of agency experience in the technology, financial or fintech sectors
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience with national, state, and local media with a proven track record in pitching and securing national, trade and regional press coverage
Already possessing established media contacts and relationships while continuing to build new ones
Ability to work well with team members and take direction in a fast-paced environment
Proactive and detail-oriented
Deliver work on time without sacrificing quality
Creative professional with an energetic personality
Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously
