Job Summary

Own the social media content lifecycle for across multiple platforms, turning trends into publishable posts and visuals while supporting community engagement and campaign calendars.

  • Cross-platform content creation and publishing across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, WhatsApp, and emerging channels.
  • Calendar-driven campaign planning and asset production to support brand storytelling.
  • Performance tracking and audience insights to inform ongoing content strategy.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Assist in creating, scheduling, and publishing engaging content across social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), TikTok, WhatsApp, and emerging channels.
  • Help develop graphics, short-form videos, reels, and other multimedia content using approved brand templates and tools.
  • Draft social media captions and copy that align with organizational messaging and goals.
  • Monitor social media channels and assist with community engagement by responding to comments and messages as appropriate.
  • Research social media trends, best practices, and audience interests to inform content development.
  • Assist with content collection at events, programs, and organizational initiatives when applicable.
  • Track and compile social media performance metrics and analytics.
  • Help maintain the social media content calendar and support campaign planning efforts.
  • Support the Marketing and Communications team with special projects and digital initiatives as needed.

Requirements

  • Current undergraduate or graduate student, or recent graduate, pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with major social media platforms and trends.
  • Interest in content creation, digital marketing, and storytelling.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated, creative, and eager to learn.

Preferred

  • Basic experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar content creation tools preferred.
