Job Description
Responsibilities
- Design high-quality, conversion-focused email campaigns and lifecycle flows for D2C/eCommerce brands
- Take high-level strategic briefs and translate them into complete email concepts
- Develop creative concepts, visual direction, layouts, and messaging for campaigns
- Write and refine headlines, subheads, body copy, offers, and CTAs when needed
- Turn strategy and messaging into polished email designs in Figma
- Ensure copy and design work together as one cohesive creative idea
- Work closely with Email Marketing Managers to bring campaign strategies and briefs to life
- Collaborate with other designers and provide creative feedback when needed
- Take ownership of especially important or challenging creative
- Establish and evolve visual systems and templates for client accounts
Requirements
- Previous agency experience working across multiple client accounts is required
- Experience working with D2C/eCommerce brands in an agency environment
- Exceptional portfolio demonstrating high-quality email and digital design
- Strong hands-on experience designing email campaigns and lifecycle flows
- Advanced Figma skills
- Excellent understanding of visual hierarchy, typography, layout, composition, imagery, and brand systems
- Strong marketing copywriting and editing instincts
- Ability to take a strategic brief and independently develop a creative concept
- Understanding of direct-response and conversion-focused creative principles
- Experience working across multiple brands and adapting to different visual identities and voices
Preferred
- Experience providing creative direction or mentoring other designers
- Strong direct-response copywriting experience
- Experience using performance data to inform creative decisions
- Experience with creative testing
- Experience building scalable email design systems
- Experience with high-volume D2C/eCommerce email programs
