The County Federal Credit Union was originally founded in 1956 as Loring Federal Credit Union to serve military personnel and civilians that worked at Loring Air Force Base. Penobscot County FCU joined us in January 2021. We currently serve almost 31,000 members throughout communities in Aroostook, Penobscot, and Piscataquis Counties, with branches in Bangor, Caribou, Fort Fairfield, Houlton, Howland, Mars Hill, Old Town, and Presque Isle.
