The Church of England Birmingham

Birmingham is the UK’s second city with the youngest urban population in one of the most lively and diverse regions. The Church of England Birmingham, founded in 1905, is one of the 41 diocese of the Church of England and covers nearly 300 square miles, including parishes in Birmingham and parts of Solihull, Sandwell, Warwickshire and Worcestershire. We have 187 churches and worship centres with an average Sundayattendance of 17,000 from a population of 1.5 million. In these churches are ministers and churchgoers representing a wide scope of tradition, ethnicity, age and background.
