SPCA of Northern Nevada

Founded in 1998 by a passionate group of volunteers, SPCA of Northern Nevada (SPCA-NN) is proud to be our region’s first no-kill animal shelter. What began as an honest mission to save lives has grown into a trusted community resource and a powerful advocate for homeless pets across northern Nevada. Today, SPCA-NN rescues, rehabilitates, and partners with rural shelters to rehome thousands of pets each year. In addition to adoptions, we provide essential services like affordable spay/neuter, vaccinations, and pet wellness support. We also lead innovative programs that help keep pets with the people who love them—because we believe pets are family. With a dedicated team and a compassionate community, we’re committed to giving every pet the second chance they deserve. We promise a lifetime commitment to every one of our pets and are devoted to saving and improving the lives of pets and people in northern Nevada.
