South Swindon Parish Council

South Swindon Parish Council was established in 2017 following consultation by Swindon Borough Council and existing for a short period as a Shadow Parish Council.The Parish Council has twenty three Councillors, three Committees and numerous Working Groups.South Swindon Parish Council is now responsible for a range of services that were carried out by Swindon Borough Council. These include:Amenity grass cutting and gang mowingShrub bed maintenanceHedge cutting and maintenanceTree Work (using hand tools from the ground)Floral beddingSports pitches maintenanceAllotment maintenanceWeekly inspections and cleaning of play areasLitter picking & general street cleaning (not road sweeping)Emptying of litter and dog binsGraffiti removalRemoval of small amount of fly-tippingCleaning of road signsFly Poster RemovalOur vision is to protect, enhance and improve the assets, facilities and people within the Parish.
