Roberts Travel Group was founded in 1995 by our CEO, Jonathan Hunt. Jonathan created his company securing a single coach and obtained a variety of contracts to include school transportation services, private hire, and university sports fixtures. Through creating a Roberts standard of excellence with a core focus on the customer, the company has gone from strength to strength and is now one of the largest operators in the Leicestershire region with a fleet of over 80 vehicles.Our holidays programme was founded by Margaret Bunker, and with her knowledge and expertise the first Roberts Holiday was introduced in 2005. In 2021, the Roberts Travel Group team delivered over 100 holidays to destinations all over the UK despite the pandemic restrictions, and in 2022 our holidays and day tours have exceeded record levels creating our busiest year to date! Our tour schedule includes some of the most popular and sought-after destinations in the UK & Europe and depart regularly from our HQ in Hugglescote, Leicestershire.In addition to our UK and European Tours, we continue to operate a broad programme of transport services including the Leicester Park and Ride on behalf of Leicestershire County Council using a fleet of state-of-the-art zero-emission electric buses and local service bus routes, schools’ contracts to include Loughborough and Leicester Universities.Whether you need sophisticated corporate travel for an important business meeting, private coach hire for an event or group trip, high-quality transportation for a sports team or an airport transfer, we have a vehicle and service to suit your needs.
