Peninsula Community Health Services of Alaska, Inc. (PCHS) is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) with oversight by the Bureau of Primary Health Care (BPHC) Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA). We are located in the beautiful Central Kenai Peninsula, in the Last Frontier state of Alaska. We have three sites providing integrated care:Our Soldotna site offers medical, eye care, physical therapy, psychiatry, and behavioral health.Kenai sites offering:1. Medical, physical therapy, psychiatry, behavioral health2. DentalWe employ approximately 25 providers and 85 clinical and administrative support staff. In 2021, PCHS served 5,882 individuals.As an FQHC, we are a safety net provider for our community of about 39,000 people. We also work with the local hospital for patients in need of inpatient or surgical care. Aligning with our mission, to provide accessible, affordable healthcare, we meet stringent quality of care requirements established by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) and offer sliding fee discounts to patients that qualify. The sliding fee discount is based on family size and income, and we provide services to our patients regardless of ability to pay. Our staff enjoy working with an organization that diligently strives to meet the needs of our patients and community.
