Nester Hosiery is a leader in sock design and manufacturing. Our superior product development resources are dedicated to making market leading designs using current fashion trends while also ensuring they meet our customers performance requirements. Besides world-class design and development, Nester Hosiery uses the latest advances in circular knitting with machinery ranging from 54 needle to 200 needle. In addition, our vertically integrated operations include multi-chamber steam boarding machinery, water-conserving steam tumbling system for post-knitting washing, and automated packaging equipment. Nester Hosiery also recognizes the importance of corporate responsibility and that the future of our business depends on taking care of the resources we have today. Since 2010, Nester Hosiery has been actively involved in the Outdoor Industry Association (OIA) Sustainability Working Group efforts. 2. Nester Hosiery supported early pilot testing of the Sustainable Apparel Coalition’s Higg Index and became the first domestic sock manufacturer to submit annual facility systems data in 2012.3. Nester Hosiery became a Bluesign System Partner in 2016 and a certified manufacturer in 2017.
