Since 1956, Monroe County Humane Association (MCHA) has been a cornerstone of compassion for pets and their people, adapting to meet the evolving needs of our community. Over the decades, our role has transformed, but one thing has remained constant: our commitment to animals and the people who love them.Today, our programs are all about keeping families together. We believe pets are family, and our mission is to provide the support, care, and resources that make it possible for pets to stay with the people who cherish them—even during life’s toughest moments.
