Laurel Oaks Behavioral Health Center provides high quality, acute psychiatric hospitalization and longer-term intensive residential treatment for children and teens, ages 4 to 18. Laurel Oaks offers specialized treatment services for youth with severe psychiatric disorders, including those with additional challenges such as mild or moderate mental retardation or other cognitive delays, abuse and/or neglect victimization or high-risk behaviors (i.e. suicidal/self-harming, assaultive, running away, etc.).We are located on approximately ten acres in the southeast corner of the state, less than 20 miles from both Florida and Georgia. Our facility offers multiple residential units organized by age group, and it includes a registered private school, cosmetologist salon, a full-service cafeteria and numerous recreational areas such as an in-ground swimming pool and gym as well as tennis and basketball courts.
