Howell's School

Howell’s School is an independent day and boarding school for girls aged 3-18. From Pre-Prep through to Sixth Form there is emphasis on academic excellence and students are supported to achieve to their full potential. This is reflected in our consistent excellent results at both GCSE and A Level. The nurturing, caring and encouraging environment allows the girls to grow through academic, extra curricular and enrichment outlets to become mature, confident, independent individuals. The school is situated in over 100 acres on the edge of the Denbighshire countryside with stunning views looking over the grounds and with spectacular views of the Welsh scenery being not far from Snowdonia’s beautiful National Park. Transport links to the school are great being only an hour from Manchester international airport and running extensive bus routes throughout North Wales. Alongside our excellent academic programme, the girls are able to become involved in various enrichment and extra curricular activities. These activates whilst good fun for the girls are developing important life long skills and allow the girls to discover their leadership and teamwork potential. The on campus facilities at Howell’s are second to none, a fully equipped Equestrian Centre with friendly, professional staff. A fabulous dance studio, a fully furbished recording studio and a sports centre with its own climbing wall and caving facility.
