Holmes Drafting Services was founded on the belief that our primary goal needed to be helping our customers grow their own businesses. As a byproduct of our customer’s successes we would in turn flourish as well; enabling us to reach more customers and therefore start the cycle over again.Through many years of experience we developed a strong relationship with many building departments, and a vast number of municipal offices. As our reputation grew it became increasingly obvious that our permits were being issued long before our competitors. Noticing that this was the case not just in one county, but across many, we made the decision to start offering permit coordination as a service to our customers. Immediately we heard praises from our customers about the rate of return on their projects. We were effectively, overnight, able to reduce the building department review time from the 7-21 days in many cases that our customers were experiencing on their own, down to 2-5 days consistently.Not only had we discovered that this was a huge area that our clients struggled in, we also found that our customers were happier and able to take on more work. The amount of time that they were spending on the day-to-day in the building department (that they didn’t realize was costing them a large sum of money) was now able to be turned into profitable, productive time calling on homeowners and going to appointments!We believe that every company should be given the chance to thrive.
